Neyi Zimu began his musical journey as a member of Joyous Celebration, a popular South African gospel choir. Songs such as "Modimo Ke O," "Lamb of God," and "Jesu Rato la Hao" are still widely sung in churches and gatherings across the nation. Even after his passing, Neyi Zimu's music continues to inspire and uplift. Born on the 22nd of October, 1967, in Sebokeng, South Africa, Neyi Zimu's passion for music was evident from a young age.

Born Moses Gcinumuzi, Neyi Zimu is a popular and celebrated South African gospel artist who Hails from Small Farm, in the Vaal. Having collaborated with some of the greats in the industry, be it as song writer, vocalist, sessionist/ producer, Neyi has undoubtedly earned a respect due to him from his colleagues as a multi instrumentalist and an asset to any music project.
His works date as far back as 1996 where he started as former founder and member of Family Factory and Joyous Celebration.
The album was well received in the market.
In November 2018 Neyi recorded "Another Level Of Worship". In addition to his successful music career, Neyi Zimu was also actively involved in various charity initiatives. On this project Neyi continued to release hits like, Midomo ke eo, Sinenqaba, Miracle & Jehova Re Tshepile Wena.
A valuable addition to the SA Music industry, this talented and dynamic musician has seen the childhood vision manifest into the rich musical career he has established for himself to date.

His exact date of birth is not known. His music remains a testament to his unwavering faith and his desire to spread a message of hope and love to all who listen.
The album featured the hit single "Jesu Rato la Hao," which became an anthem of worship across South Africa. One of his most notable albums was "Friends in Praise, Vol. 1" released in 2003.
The album featured collaborations with renowned gospel artists such as Omega Khunou and Benjamin Dube. His music continues to touch the lives of many, reminding them of the power of worship and the importance of faith. Neyi has shared the stage with the likes of The Manhattans (during their South African tour) Sibongile Khumalo, Benjamin Dube, the late Wendy Mseleku, Vuyo Mokoena, and Rebecca Malope.
Neyi is also a pastor and founder of the All Nations Revival Ministries in Midrand, from where he serves his congregation loyally.Father, Husband, Founder of a church, Musician and business man by day a “Jack of all trades”, but in Neyi’s case, truly a Master of his craft.Recently Neyi featured on the platinum selling project “Healing in His presence” led by the legend Benjamin Dube.
2012 Neyi also featured on a big (Gold selling, SAMA award winning) Gospel project in South Africa called “Spirit of Praise” 4 recorded live at the carnival city big top arena.
2013 hopes for a continuation and revelation of yet another dimension to Neyi as he has just released his fifth album which is “I trust in You” with SPIRIT MUSIC ( his new record label).
Neyi Zimu's untimely passing in December 2019 left a void in the music industry and in the hearts of his fans.
