Marcio Zouvi began his shaping career in Rio de Janeiro as a young kid with an appetite for curiosity and an aptitude for reinvention.

He looks back at his personal journey to becoming one of the top shapers in the sport, growing up in Rio de Janeiro, learning to surf at Copacabana beach, attempting to shape his first board at age 12, moving to San Diego to learn his craft and work his way up through the ranks, and finally creating his own brand.
