Mr. Barraza was born June 24, 1948, in Anthony, N.M. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a huge Superman fan.
Juan Francisco Barraza
Born in the district of San Miguel as the son of Maria de la Cruz Barraza and Juan de Dios Flores, he attended Dr Antonio Rosales primary school.
Barraza began playing soccer in grade school and he joined C.D.
Corona when he was eight years old.
Due to extreme hardship, he began playing with balls made out of rags.

Retirement and death
He officially retired in 1970, and on December 17, 1997 Cariota died due to cardiac problems in Zacamil hospital in El Salvador.

26, 2013, at Tucson Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Rosa A. Barraza of Tucson; four daughters, Angelina Ramirez of Sierra Vista, Karina Francis of Tucson, Karla Stark of Phoenix, and Cristina Barraza of Tucson; one son, Juan Francisco Barraza of Tucson; two sisters, Ramona Slawson of Casa Grande and Guadalupe Barraza-Valdivia of Brawley, Calif., and four grandchildren.
