Below is the commercial I illustrated for CBS. Enjoy! I love to draw and I love the computer so I've always been interested in the challenge of bringing a personal, hand-made touch to digital work. She also worked for several years as a textile designer selling her designs to some of the world’s top manufacturers.

What is Royalty-Free image licensing?
Royalty-free images are photos, illustrations, or vectors that artists license for a fee. She now works extensively in the publishing, fashion, tableware, and stationary industries creating illustrations and surface designs for clients across the world.
Since I began the collection in 2007, my images have been licensed well over a million times and appeared on products and projects around the world.

If you feel like you've seen Jess's art somewhere, it's probably because you have! While living in NYC, I worked in the publishing industry as an in-house freelance designer in the children’s book departments at Henry Holt, Scholastic, and HarperCollins. My illustrations and designs have appeared in many publications and on countless apparel, stationary, and tableware products in major retailers across the world.
I had hoped to come out of college and be making my own books right away but it took me almost 12 years creating, working and learning, before the right opportunity presented itself.
I grew up in Connecticut, lived for a while in mid-town Manhattan, and currently live in woods of New Jersey with my husband Erik (who's also an illustrator) and our two kids.

If you're an individual (or company) looking for royalty-free doodles for a project, I also have a separate collection of over 900 royalty-free images available. After leaving the city to start a family, I jumped into illustration as a full-time career and I have been running my own business ever since.

Blending hand-made and digital techniques, Jess's distinctive style is a organic combination of flowing shapes, floral motifs, and lush color palettes. I like to say "The secret of living a creative life is making it up as you go along" and it's so true!
