Marie, Ontario, in 1955. With three beautiful children and a loving home, Sally’s untimely passing brought about an irrevocable transformation in their lives. In his free time, he wrote many children's stories that were not published at first. Since then, he has written many more popular books. However, it was only as the investigation unfolded that the shocking and horrifying truth behind the incident began to emerge.
It was published in 2006 and won the Governor General's Literary Award in 2007. He claimed the spasm rendered him incapable of applying the brakes and preventing the collision. By the time I left high school I had lived in eleven different houses and gone to nine different schools. But even here I’ve managed to keep moving. Ian had premeditatedly disabled the airbags on the passenger side of the car, and as they approached the predetermined location, he unbuckled Sally’s seatbelt.
