"When I won the Olympics in 2008, I thought, 'Okay, I think I'm good at dressage, now I need something that I'm not good at'. A multifunctional center that is equipped with all conveniences and luxury for rider and horse. She won the World Cup Final in total nine times. She was pregnant when she claimed gold at the 2004 Games in Athens.

In 2019 she became an ambassador for the Royal Dutch Equestrian Sports Federation's Talent Plan, a talent recognition and development programme for Olympic disciplines. Two years later the duo became Dutch champion for the first time. 
 

The arrival of Bonfire...

In 1994, Anky became the World Champion Freestyle during the Wolrd Equestrian Games in The Hague.

Her son Yannick has competed in pony jumping at international level. (rtl.nl, 17 Apr 2013) She received the Fanny Blankers-Koen Award [lifetime achievement award] at the 2012 Dutch Sports Awards. Along with her Olympic successes, she has won numerousmedals at the WorldEquestrian Games, and is the only rider to have competed at everyWEGsince they began in 1990.

Yannick Janssen always joins Anky and Sjef when they travel to major shows. However, the success came and after two European Championships for youn Riders, Anky participated in 1988 at the Olympics in Seoul. She has also competednumeroustimes at the EuropeanDressage Championships, winningsevenindividualmedals and eight team medalsbetween 1991 and 2009.

Only a few weeks later she won the National title with Keltec Salinero and that year she won the European Championships in Turin. She also coaches dressage riders there. (nos.nl, 18 Dec 2012) She has been named Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau and Knight in the Order of the Netherlands Lion. Anky is the first rider who wins three times in a row the individual Olympic gold medal with two different horses (Bonfire 2000 and Salinero 2004 & 2008)

Anky Education Center...

The completely renovated Anky Education Center was opened in 2010.

More and more home and foreign horsemen and riders are finding their way to Erp. In addition, corporate events take place and both horse and non-horse related workshops.
