Known for his dedication to his craft and his ability to connect with audiences through his natural acting style, Aari has carved a niche for himself in the Tamil film industry. The film opened to positive reviews and performed above average at the box office. In the film, Aari played the role of Murugan, a rugged, fearless highway bandit.

Aari lost 14 kilograms for his next venture, the comedy Kadai En 6, which was released in 2015, as did the supernatural thriller Maya, featuring Nayanthara. He also holds the Guinness World Book of Records after planting approximately 30,000 seedlings with 20,000 participants, in a 15 acre land, in collaboration with Sathyabama University.

The marriage took place in Kalikambal temple at Parrys, Chennai on 18 November 2015 and the reception was held on 19 November 2015 in Taj Connemara. He worked on T. V. Chandran's Aadum Koothu (2005) which was shown across film festivals, working alongside an established cast including Cheran and Navya Nair. His early roles were primarily in art films, which allowed him to hone his craft and develop a deeper understanding of acting.

Aari’s breakthrough came in 2010 with the film “Rettaisuzhi,” where he played a significant role.

He also was awarded the Guinness World Book of Records for most Signatures on a whiteboard. While the film did not achieve commercial success, it marked the beginning of Aari’s journey in the film industry. Aari was an active participant in school events and developed a passion for acting at a young age.

After completing his education, Aari moved to Chennai to pursue his dream of becoming an actor.

His performance in “Maya” was well-received, and the film’s success further solidified his place in the industry.

Aari has also been part of films like “Unnodu Ka” (2016) and “Nagesh Thiraiyarangam” (2018), where he explored different genres, from romance to drama.

The film, which told a story which happens in the space of two and a half hours, released in mid-2012 to mixed reviews from critics. However the film opened to poor reviews, with a critic noting that "the lead pair Anjali and Aari lacks charisma and is not convincing as lovers".

In October 2011 it was announced that Aari would feature in Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakathilaey after replacing Adith Arun in the lead role and would star alongside winner of Miss South India 2010, Shubha Phutela.
