Although they are just generalities, I could manage with our bikes in those scientific approaches. That's how remarkable the situation was back then. There was a sentiment among some at Yamaha which posited, 'Valentino isn't essential for our success; we're capable of engineering a motorcycle so superior and powerful that any rider could secure a win with it.'"
