Lawsuit update: Judge's ruling means the hunt for Les Miles must continue

BATON ROUGE - A ruling from a federal district court judge extends a legal game of hide-and-seek tied to a lawsuit against LSU by a former athletics department employee.

Sharon Lewis sued the university and a number of individuals associated with the school in 2021, listing accusations of discrimination, a hostile work environment and other misconduct.

Efforts to serve Miles with a subpoena this summer failed, and the plaintiffs turned to the Court for help.

Les Miles' flip-flop on the Michigan job caught many off guard -- including the Wolverine brass.

After about 15 minutes it left, returning to Willow Run. The return leg is scheduled to touch down in approximately 30 minutes. He left UM to take over the Ball State program in 2003.

Two other interesting names recently were dropped in my lap: N.C. State's Tom O'Brien and Missouri's Gary Pinkel. Word is he he was one of Bo Schembechler's top choices.

What I think is going to happen is that we’ll renegotiate with Les and he’s going to stay."
