And I was highly intrigued by Darwyn wanting to write horror. I mean kids are now doing this stuff, this is what we are showing them, teaching them. I think there are more lessons to learn there for our own lives, and to learn creatively by how he chose to handle this most artful departure from the world.

This all has given me pause mentally, as I am currently in the middle of making very large changes in my life, personally and creatively and literally moving into new territory.

But awhile ago I came to understand for my own creative life to grow it had also needed to change, or better termed: allowed to be ever changing. Below is a link, some cool people will be there that I’m eager to meet…

Here is what I’m involved in so far for this year’s SDCC.

So, in this chaos it would be a bit insane to set up the next sale in the middle of that. Maybe that will change, I hope. Only one spread each from issues one and two remain. Location: Press Suite (Marriott) – SANDMAN PRESS ROUNDTABLE

5:30 p.m. So my only convention this year at this point is Asbury Park in New Jersey this upcoming weekend (12th and 13th), with a short stop along the way to see Todd Klein, Master Of Letters, for a couple days.

All purely done with his performance and acute acting skills. They were so very smart. Come by and say hello to help keep me from becoming too bored with all of the usual madness that is “Con”. He’s a true master entertainer with enough explosive energy to set Las Vegas to burning with unseen but massively felt super cosmic energies of feel good.

Morrison and Cons

Last week or so saw the announcement of the MorrisonCon guests, or at least some of them anyway, and I’m among that list.

It’s been highly emotional, stressful even.

My shock is less potent now, but some deeper anger and cynicism is poking at my ribs inside.

I see that on the winning side of this election that many are upset over the protests taking place. Its gonna be a killer.
My spotlight panel went off beautifully. The logistical and creative decisions before me are daunting, but I have to accept this is the path and just run.

There are a few very minor dangling threads left unfinished. Leaping and jumping, no barrier can hold against. Ray’s story is immediately engaging with characters that you quickly fall in love with. Plus sometimes other travel comes up for family stuff.

So, I’m gonna update things now. It might be a little bit difficult to see the deeper reasons it’s wrong because everything in comics is so reliant on the various moving parts all linking up in the right ways.
