After Eddie died, Chris just seemed to spiral. I saw this one match where Benoit won but Eddie got all mad and tackled him outside the ring. They had been through a lot, and this was their time to shine.
Now, let me tell ya somethin’. Their friendship was real, and it showed in everything they did. Now, I ain’t no expert in this sport, but I can tell ya, these two were somethin’ special.
These two wrestled all over the world, in places like Japan, Mexico, ECW, WCW, and WWE. They were always together, lookin’ out for each other. They were a special pair, and I reckon the world of wrestling will never forget ’em. No, it was his heart.
It’s like, how can someone so talented go down that path? They ain’t just wrestlers; they were like brothers, always there for each other, fightin’ side by side.
Now, Eddie Guerrero, he was a man of many talents. Eddie had this charm ’bout him that just made people love him, and even though he had his struggles in life, folks still admired him.

The year of 2004 really belonged to Eddie and Chris, you know. It makes you think, doesn’t it?
Next, I went back to Eddie. I mean, the guy was considered one of the best, top 10, maybe even top 5, by some big names in the sport. Eddie won the WWE Championship in 2004, and you could see how much it meant to him. It’s a shame that it had to end so soon, but Eddie’s memory lives on, and so does the legacy of his friendship with Chris Benoit.
Folks like Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit don’t come around too often.
But that whole incident in 2007, where he… well, you know… it’s just messed up. Ain’t no doubt about it.
